Shag Rock, Christchurch, as it was This image was made, almost by chance, one dull morning in February 2010. I used what light there was to sculpt the lines on this landmark at the mouth of Ihutai, the estuary of the Avon and Heathcote Rivers. It is now just a pile of rocks.

I was quite unprepared for what happened just two months later! The image was made just after 9pm, with very little light, which gives it a nice pastel glow.
